Assistant Professor, Psychology
Full-time, tenure track Assistant Professor position to begin August 2024.
Responsibilities:
Teach undergraduate and master’s level courses across the curriculum like general psychology, research methods, statistics, courses in the faculty member’s area of specialization, and other courses as needed. Establish an active research program. Direct undergraduate research and graduate theses. Engage in service activities at the department, college, and university levels.
Required Qualifications:
Ph.D. in Psychology or related field is required. ABDs with a documented plan of completion by appointment date will be considered. Candidates must provide evidence of excellence in teaching, the ability to establish an active research program, and the interest and ability to involve undergraduate and master’s level graduate students in their research as well as to direct undergraduate research projects and graduate student theses.
Preferred Qualifications:
Preference will be given to applicants who can also teach courses in research methods and statistics.
