In honor of STP's 75th Anniversary, STP changed the look and name of its monthly newsletter. - 2011 through 2019: TOPNEWS-Online (monthly newsletter)
STP published a monthly newsletter, TOPNEWS-Online, as a supplement to the biannual newsletter.
Beginning with the April 2016 issue, TOPNEWS-Online became STP's official newsletter. - 1966 through 2015: Biannual Newsletters
Prior to April 2016, STP published a biannual newsletter.
History of STP News
The Society for the Teaching of Psychology (STP) established TOPNEWS, an electronic announcement list, in October 1998. The name of this newsletter was changed to TOPNEWS-Online in March, 2000 to distinguish it from other publications by STP. TOPNEWS-Online supplemented STP's biannual newsletter and provided monthly announcements about issues and events relevant to the teaching of psychology.
TOPNEWS-Online became the Society's official newsletter in April 2016, replacing STP's biannual newsletter. In honor of STP's 75th Anniversary, the newsletter was updated and renamed STP News beginning with the January 2020 issue.
