The Department of Psychology at Southeastern Louisiana University seeks applicants for an Assistant or Associate Professor tenure track position beginning in August 2024. A Ph.D. in psychology or closely related field with a background in behaviorism, applied behavior analysis, or experimental analysis of behavior is required. Candidates must show a strong commitment to excellence in teaching and scholarship. The successful candidate will be expected to teach both undergraduate and graduate courses in psychology, maintain an active scholarly program, supervise student research, and perform departmental and university service. The candidate also will coordinate an Applied Behavior Analysis concentration at the undergraduate level.

Southeastern Louisiana University is located in Hammond, less than 50 miles from the metropolitan centers of Baton Rouge and New Orleans. Southeastern has an undergraduate enrollment of more than 14,000. The Department of Psychology has approximately 500 undergraduate majors and 30 students in our master’s degree program.
