We aim to expand educational opportunities for and improve the achievement of academic excellence of our diverse, non-traditional, and first-generation college students. The college has recently been titled a Hispanic Serving Institution (HSI). Candidates interested in contributing to this ongoing commitment are encouraged to apply. We welcome applications from scholars from underrepresented groups, with a commitment to inclusion of diverse representation in ethnic, racial, cultural, religious, and gender identities.

Teach courses as needed at the undergraduate and graduate levels in behavioral neuroscience, and other courses as needed in some of these areas: physiological psychology, sensation and perception, cognitive psychology, introductory psychology, research methods, and statistics courses.

    • Maintain a program of research
    • Supervise undergraduate and graduate-level research
    • Provide academic advising for students, including minors in behavioral neuroscience
    • Engage in professional service activities within the department and the college
    • Participate in college and departmental activities and committees
    • Willingness to take on leadership roles, especially in the Behavioral Neuroscience minor

Review of applications is ongoing; recommend applying by early October. Full details are available here:  https://employment.ric.edu/postings/7275
