    The Department of Psychology invites applications for a full-time, tenure-track Assistant Professor position beginning with the 2024-2025 academic year (beginning in August 2024). This is a nine (9) month academic position with a teaching load of six-to-eight courses per year (three-to-four courses each semester). In addition to the teaching duties, candidates should have experience in – or the potential for building – an equitable and diverse scholarly environment in teaching, mentoring, research, life experiences, and/or service.

    Requirements: Ph.D. in Psychology or related field. An ABD currently enrolled graduate student will be considered in special cases. Although the area of specific emphasis is open, applicants whose work addresses clinical issues such as drug and chemical dependency, industrial/organizational psychology, sports psychology, trauma, resilience, and/or multicultural psychology are especially encouraged to apply. License or license eligibility in Missouri is encouraged.
