The Department of Psychology invites applications for a full-time Applied Assistant Professor position starting in Fall 2024.

The successful candidate will be an innovative, talented teacher and mentor with a passion for undergraduate education. They will be able to teach a variety of core and elective undergraduate and graduate courses and to work closely with undergraduate students in and outside of the classroom. Opportunities exist to provide supervision/clinical instruction to clinical psychology graduate students in our APA-accredited clinical psychology program if the individual is appropriately trained and licensed. This is a 9-month, non-tenure track position that will be eligible for ongoing contract renewal.

Characteristic Duties

• Teach a variety of undergraduate and graduate courses in psychology and related methods.
  
• Serve on departmental, college, and university committees.
  
• Develop and advise psychology co-curricular student activities, clubs, and societies at the undergraduate and graduate levels.
