Tennessee State University is a public, historically Black university (HBCU) in Nashville. TSU’s Department of Psychological Sciences and Counseling seeks applicants for a tenure track position at the level of Assistant Professor to join the core faculty of a vibrant BS in Psychology program. Content area is open, but priority is given to those with expertise in decolonized, multicultural instruction and those with experience working with marginalized and underrepresented populations, through teaching and research. Classes to be taught may include but is not limited to: social psychology, cognitive psychology, personality, psychology of the Black experience, senior project, and statistics. We are seeking a flexible, student-centered team player who enjoys advising, teaching, and mentoring students in research.
