The Psychology program at Purchase College, SUNY, invites applications for a tenure-track Assistant Professor position (open area) beginning Fall 2023. Our department values inclusive research and teaching, as demonstrated through our commitment to student-faculty mentorship in our research-focused curriculum.

We welcome candidates from all areas. However, special consideration will be given to those whose areas of specialization supplement the current strengths of the Department, such as those who conduct basic or applied research in cognitive psychology, cognitive neuroscience, aging (or research related to senior populations), or personality. We are particularly interested in candidates whose approach to research and teaching is sensitive to diverse identities.
