    The Department of Psychology in the College of Arts and Sciences at Quinnipiac University seeks to hire a psychologist at the rank of Assistant Teaching Professor. Candidates should have expertise in applied behavioral science (e.g., behavioral change, behavioral interventions, “nudging”) with clear implications for, and application to, physical and/or mental health care. The position will begin in August 2023. The Department of Psychology is home to popular majors in Psychology and Behavioral Neuroscience and has a strong track record of producing successful graduates.

    As we are dedicated to inclusive excellence, candidates with expertise regarding racial, ethnic, and/or LGBTQ+ issues in physical and/or mental health will be prioritized as will candidates from diverse backgrounds. 

    • Teaching responsibilities will be 4 courses per semester and include foundational Psychology curriculum courses, a course in our research methods sequence as needed, and courses in the candidate’s area of specialization
    • Advising majors
    • Supervising undergraduate internships and/or independent studies
    • Actively engaging in department, college, university, and community service
