The Department of Psychological Science at Kennesaw State University is accepting applications for open rank part-time faculty to teach undergraduate courses in psychology.
- These courses are most often at an introductory level. Rank is determined at the time of hiring and will be commensurate with experience.
- Part-time faculty are hired from the department's pool of applicants on a semester-by-semester basis.
- Assignments to faculty in the pool are based on departmental needs and are for one or two courses per semester.
- Applicants may be asked to teach in various modalities (face-to-face, hybrid, and online) and courses may be assigned at the Kennesaw or Marietta campus.
- Qualified out-of-state candidates are encouraged to apply.
Responsibilities include:
- teaching primarily lower division courses and courses in specialty area in psychology at the undergraduate level
- working with diverse communities
Preferred Qualifications
- Record of successful past teaching of undergraduate courses in psychology
- Experience teaching online or hybrid courses
