The Department of Psychology at Knox College invites applications for a full-time, tenure-track assistant professor beginning Fall 2020. Knox is an independent, selective liberal arts institution with a strong commitment to undergraduate teaching. We are seeking a colleague who can offer courses and student research opportunities in clinical/counseling or cognitive psychology, broadly defined. A secondary interest or expertise in developmental or health psychology would also be a strength. The position involves a six-course teaching load that includes lower and/or upper level courses in the candidate’s area of expertise, supervision of undergraduate research projects, and contributions to our introductory course and/or statistics/research methods sequence. Start-up funds are available. The Department maintains a collegial environment, and Knox has diverse and academically strong students, many of whom pursue graduate study; see http://departments.knox.edu/psychdept/ for more information.
