In 2025, STP created a new award called the STP Champion Award. This recognition was developed to honor the “unsung heroes” of STP—members who may not hold named leadership roles but whose meaningful, consistent, and often behind-the-scenes contributions strengthen STP in important ways. Individuals are nominated by leaders across the organization. The winners receive a letter and award certificate from STP and recognition across STP's social media outlets.
