    Assistant Professor of Psychology, Tenure-Track / Lecturer / Visiting

    Rockford University is actively seeking applications for a position in an exciting and growing Psychology Department.  The position offers a rank at tenure-track, lecturer, or visiting professor faculty depending on qualifications, specializing in clinical and general psychology. Our academic offerings encompass a wide spectrum of traditional undergraduate programs, including psychology, child and adolescent development, lifespan development, and aging studies. The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering courses related to clinical psychology, brain and behavior, cognition, quantitative research methods, and introductory psychology. Faculty members are expected to manage a teaching load of 12 credit hours each semester, with this appointment beginning Fall 2024.

    Qualifications and Requirements:

    Education: Candidates should, at minimum, possess a background in clinical and general psychology.

    Preferred Qualification: Terminal degree (Ph.D., Psy.D., ABD) in related field.

    We are looking for candidates with outstanding teaching skills and interest in advising traditional and non- traditional students from globally diverse populations. The ideal candidate will also be willing to direct internships, and willing to become actively involved in the Rockford area community.
