    The Department of Psychology at Misericordia University is seeking a creative, compassionate, and engaging instructor for a full-time Visiting Assistant Professor position for the 2024-2025 academic year.  This ten-month position involves a 4:4 teaching load including Introductory Psychology, Research Methods, and specialty courses in their area of interest. The department seeks a candidate with the ability to teach a wide array of courses, including those that support both the major and the core curriculum; strong preference will be given to those with expertise in any of the following subfields: experimental psychology, forensic and criminal psychology, and health/sports psychology.  

    Candidates are required either to have an earned Ph.D. in Psychology or to be ABD with doctoral degree completed by August 15, 2024.  Also required are candidates who desire congenial faculty and student relationships.
