Job Description:

Sacred Heart University's Department of Psychology invites applications for a full-time, Lecturer position, to begin August 2023.  Specialization area is open, but preference will be given to applicants with the ability to teach Introduction to Psychology, First Year Writing Seminar and other foundational core courses as qualified. Undergraduate advising is expected as is other service to the department, college, and university.  The teaching load is 4/4. Applicants are expected to demonstrate a commitment to undergraduate teaching excellence and a strong appreciation for the mission of the University and its focus on sustainability and social justice. The position is renewable annually dependent on performance, need, and funding.

Requirements:

• Ph.D. or ABD in psychology
• College level teaching experience
