    The Department of Psychology in the W. H. Sutton School of Social Sciences at Ouachita Baptist University invites applications for tenure-track appointment at the rank of Assistant Professor to begin August 2023. The successful candidate will exhibit excellent teaching in the context of a liberal arts education; scholarly activity in the field; a collegial commitment to professional, university, departmental, and community service; and a Christian commitment consistent with the University’s vision, mission, and values. A PhD in Psychology or a related field by August 2023 is preferred (although ABD candidates may be considered). Area of specialization is open. Strong quantitative skills are essential. Teaching expectations typically include four courses each semester. Research activities that emphasize undergraduate student collaboration are expected.
