The Psychology Department at Sacramento State invites applications for a tenure-track assistant professor position to begin in Fall 2020 with expertise in the psychology of gender. The Department strives to further Sacramento State’s identity as an institution that welcomes and embraces diversity. The position is open to all sub-disciplines relevant to the psychological study of gender. These include, but are not limited to, social, personality, developmental, clinical, cultural, community psychology, and health psychology. Candidates with a background in teaching and/or scholarship that critically examines people’s lived intersectional realities in regard to gender, gender identity, sexual minority status, race, ethnicity, immigration status, SES, etc. are particularly encouraged to apply.
