Every year at the regional conferences there are paper and poster presentations on teaching issues that are largely forgotten after the conference. To capture this wealth of material, I am pleased to announce that STP has created a recurring STP e-book series that organizes that material into topical categories and provides readers with a summary of the conference presentation and contact information for those who would like more information. This 4th edition of the of Teaching Tips: A Compendium of Conference Presentations on Teaching, 2018-19 provides summaries of presentations at APA, ACT, NITOP, APS, Psychology One, RMPA, MPA, SWPA, MAToP, MToP and SETOP. The presentations are organized into the following topical areas: advising, assessment, capstone courses, clinical/counseling, cognitive/learning, critical thinking, developmental, ethics, gender, history of psychology, interdisciplinary studies, multicultural psychology, neuroscience, online teaching, pedagogy, professional development for both faculty and for students, psychopathology, research methods, service learning, social psychology, SoTL. statistics, student engagement, student success, undergraduate research, and writing.
