Job Summary
Kennesaw State University is now accepting applications for one semester, full-time, non-tenure track, Limited-Term Instructor or Limited-Term Assistant Professor of Psychology faculty positions in the Department of Psychological Science that begins January 2024.
Responsibilities
- Teaching undergraduate courses across a variety of areas, including general psychology, developmental psychology, research methods, cross cultural psychology, and counseling psychology. Other courses may be assigned as needed.
- A teaching load of five courses per semester.
- An option to teach fully online may be considered Faculty will work with a wide variety of students from diverse backgrounds.
Teaching assignments will be based on earned degrees and SACSCOC Faculty Credentials Guidelines.
Required Qualifications
- For Limited Term Instructor: A Master's degree, or the foreign equivalent, in a discipline related to psychology, or a closely related discipline is required. OR A Master's degree, or the foreign equivalent, in a non-related discipline with 18 graduate credit hours in psychology is required.
- For Limited Term Assistant Professor: A terminal/Doctorate degree, or the foreign equivalent, in psychology or a related discipline is required.
Preferred Qualifications
- Record of successful teaching of undergraduate courses in psychology
- Experience teaching online or hybrid courses
