    The Psychology Department at Eastern Illinois University invites applications for a full-time non-tenure-track instructor in any area of expertise in psychology. Responsibilities include teaching undergraduate courses in the Department's online degree program, as well as advising undergraduate students. The position begins August 16, 2023. Note that this is not a remote position. The successful applicant will be required to have an on-campus presence.

    A doctorate in any area of psychology is required (ABD will be considered). The individual filling this position will need to be prepared (or willing) to teach a wide array of courses, as well as demonstrate a commitment to diversity, and have experience with promoting inclusive excellence. Other requirements include demonstrated evidence of teaching excellence at the college/university level.
