The Indiana University Department of Psychological and Brain Sciences is seeking applications for a full-time non-tenure track Lecturer whose responsibilities will consist primarily of undergraduate teaching; the position may also be involved in outreach to industry to foster internship opportunities. We invite applications from candidates excited about pedagogy and committed to continued development of new pedagogical practices in general psychology as well as in the broad areas of organizational and business psychology, such as industrial/organizational psychology, human factors, consumer psychology, and user experience (UX) design. The teaching load is five courses per academic year, which will include general, introductory-level coursework as well as courses in organizational and business psychology. Preference will be given to candidates with a demonstrated commitment to inclusive and evidence-based pedagogical methods or comparable experience in industry. Minimum qualification at time of appointment is a doctoral or Master’s degree in psychology or another discipline related to the broad areas mentioned above. This will be a Lecturer faculty appointment beginning with a 3-year renewable appointment and opportunities for promotion to Senior Lecturer, then Teaching Professor. Lecturer-stream faculty are fully embedded in department processes and structures, including serving on elected department committees, and play a critical role in the department and university’s mission.
