The Department of Psychology and Counseling at Arkansas State University invites applications for a full-time, tenure-track Assistant Professor of Psychology. Preferred expertise in Developmental Psychology (specific area open), but we will also consider other areas of expertise depending on evolving needs of the department. Position to begin August 2024.
Teaching responsibilities may include classes such as Child, Adolescent or Lifespan Development. Depending on the background and interest of the candidate, other courses within our curriculum will also be available. We also welcome the development of new classes in your specific specialty area. Faculty have the opportunity to work with and mentor students as part of their research labs.
A doctoral degree in Psychology or related field is required. Candidates who are advanced ABDs will be considered at the rank of instructor until the dissertation is defended. For more information, please see:
