NOTE: THE PRECONFERENCE HAS REACHED MAXIMUM CAPACITY. WE ARE ONLY TAKING REGISTRATIONS FOR A WAITING LIST.
You can MAKE AN IMPACT in the teaching of psychology.
Are you ready to explore your creative capacity for innovative contributions to the teaching of psychology OR to take a current project to the next level in terms of expansion and expression? Do you have something to say?
We want to help.
The Society for the Teaching of Psychology announces the first Teaching of Psychology Incubator (TOPInc). Like a business incubator, TOPInc will help individuals develop and accelerate ideas they have for non-traditional scholarly impact (e.g., conferences, blogs, books, websites, podcasts, social media presence, resources, etc.). We invite all teachers of psychology to join us for this free pre-conference workshop.
All you need to bring is a project or an idea for one. We will spend our time together discussing how to build, articulate, promote, disseminate, and fund your project, whether is is an idea nearing its finishing stages, or a brand new idea that you've been toying with. For more details, please head to the ACT TOPInc registration page (Waiting List only).
The TOPInc pre-conference workshop will take place at the ACT conference hotel on Thursday, October 17 , 2019 from 2pm- 5pm in the "Dodgeball" conference room. It is limited to the first 12 registrants who will work closely with TOPInc mentors. This year’s mentors are Jane Halonen, Eric Landrum, Garth Neufeld, and Anna Ropp.
