The Department of Psychology in the W. H. Sutton School of Social Sciences at Ouachita Baptist University invites applications for a tenure-track appointment at the rank of Assistant Professor to begin August, 2017. We will give special attention to candidates with strong quantitative skills and/or a child-development specialization. PhD in Psychology or Child/Human Development by August 2017, preferred; ABD considered. Course load is four per semester. Research activities that emphasize undergraduate student collaboration are expected. Applicants should demonstrate commitment to the university’s Christian identity, undergraduate teaching, research, and professional development. Women and minorities are strongly encouraged to apply. Ouachita is a private, Christian liberal-arts institution.
