            <title>Call for Nominations, E-xcellence in Teaching Editor</title>
            <description>The Society for the Teaching of Psychology, Division 2 of APA, invites nominations for the position of E-xcellence in Teaching Editor, the main responsibility of which is to manage the electronic publication of monthly essays on the teaching of psychology for the Society’s listserv. Specifically, the editor is responsible for contacting prospective authors, editing the essays, posting the essays to the listserv, and compiling the 12 essays per year into an edited electronic book. The appointment is for a 3-year term beginning in January, 2010. Nominations, including self-nominations, should be sent electronically to William Addison (weaddison@eiu.edu); Psychology Department; Eastern Illinois University. Nominations should include a statement of interest and a brief summary of qualifications.  To ensure full consideration, nominations should be received by October 1.</description>

Description: This 31-page resource provides three assessment measures:&lt;br /&gt;
1. A Rubric for Evaluating a Psychology Research Report&lt;br /&gt;
2. Evaluating Students&apos; Process Knowledge: Measuring Understanding of Inter-Rater Reliability&lt;br /&gt;
3. Reading a Journal Article: An Assessment Tool&lt;br /&gt;
Each includes an introduction that describes the development of the tool and a scoring rubric. The second and third measures also include reproduction-ready assignments for activities.

Brewer Distinguished Teaching of Psychology Award.
