Resources Available to Graduate Students
- A subscription to, Teaching of Psychology, the world’s premier journal pertaining to teaching-related issues.
- A subscription to TOPNEWS-Online, a monthly electronic newsletter that announces issues and events relevant to the teaching of psychology. This newsletter keeps members up-to-date on relevant issues in between the twice-a-year publication of STP's newsletter.
- A subscription to the PSYCHTEACHER listserv, where ongoing online discussions of teaching-related issues take place among graduate students, beginning faculty members, and the most seasoned of psychology professors. This listserv provides a forum in which graduate students are encouraged to direct their questions and concerns about teaching to more experienced academicians.
- A subscription to the GSTA listserv, an ongoing online forum for graduate student teachers to discuss teaching related issues. You may pose a question, ask for or give advice, share a teaching experience, or post just about anything else. The listserv is also a way for the GSTA executive committee to maintain contact with its members, and for members to provide feedback regarding GSTA.
- The Society for the Teaching of Psychology is dedicated to providing services to future teachers of psychology. Thus, in the coming months, members will be alerted to the provision of an increased array of services for novice teachers.
