The 2002 Award for Distinguished Contributions of Applications of Psychology to Education and Training by the American Psychological Association was given to Viriginia Andreoli Mathie, Ph.D. Ginny is former President of STP and most recently has served as the STP's Cluster Coordinator for the new programming format introduced at the 2002 Convention. Ginny's award from APA recognizes her work and leadership in the Psychology Partnerships Project (P3) and browsers can read more about her efforts in the May, 2002 Monitor on Psychology.On Sunday, August 25, 2002, STP hosted a reception to congratulate Ginny for her achievements.
